Position: Farming/Commercial Account Handler

Location: Pavey Group/Mole Insurance Services, Bridgwater

Full/Part Time: Full Time

Hours: Monday to Friday 9am – 5.15pm, with a 1 hour lunch break.

Education: English & Maths GCSE/O Level Grade C or above. Cert CII is an advantage but not essential.

Experience: The successful candidate will ideally have a minimum of two years’ experience dealing with agricultural and/or commercial insurance renewals, assisting with new business and mid-term adjustments predominantly dealing with farm, smallholder and agricultural vehicles and commercial package products.

We will consider applicants who have experience in farming or an interest in the countryside, as opposed to having an insurance back ground. In this instance a positive attitude, good organisational skills combined with the motivation to develop your knowledge and understanding of the insurance industry is essential.

Knowledge/skills: Excellent customer service skills are required for this role along with previous knowledge of agricultural and/or commercial insurance products. The candidate must be able to must display strong communication skills and be able to work in an organised manner. Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is essential.

The Role: The successful candidate will work within a small but busy insurance office providing day to day support to new and existing clients via phone, email and post. The role requires you to be responsible for handling renewals and will involve providing administrative support on renewals and new business to the Account Managers, who will be managing the insurances of our larger clients.
